be going to
be going to (plan)
Animasyonlu anlatım
Çizgi film öğretmen be going to bu dersin kendi örnek cümleleriyle sahne sahne anlatır: tahtada formül, renk kodlu cümle parçaları, yanlış → doğru karşılaştırmaları. Anlatım İngilizcedir (İngiliz aksanı). İlk açılışta senaryo hazırlanır (~1 dk), sonra anında açılır.
be going to ile geleceği anlatırız. Kullandığımız iki durum var: önceden karar verdiğimiz planlar (I'm going to buy a car.) ve şu an gördüğümüz bir işarete göre olacak şeyler (Look at the clouds! It's going to rain.). Türkçede çoğu zaman -ecek / -acak ekiyle söyleriz: alacağım, yağacak. Türkçede ek fiilin sonuna gelir. İngilizcede ise am/is/are going to fiilden önce gelir.
A am / is / are going to + fiil
Durum: Ayşe has got a new job in Ankara. She is going to move there next month. (Ayşe Ankara'da yeni bir iş buldu. Gelecek ay oraya taşınacak.)
Ayşe karar verdi. Bu onun planı. → is going to move
Kural: am / is / are + going to + fiilin yalın hali (move, buy, watch…)
| Kim? | be | going to | fiil |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | am ('m) | going to | work |
| he / she / it | is ('s) | going to | work |
| we / you / they | are ('re) | going to | work |
→ going to'dan sonra fiil hep yalın: going to buy (buys ✗, bought ✗). → am/is/are'yi unutmayın! I going to… ✗
Türkçe: alacağım (al + acağ + ım) → İngilizce: I'm going to buy (I + am + going to + buy).
- I'm going to buy a new phone.Yeni bir telefon alacağım.Karar verdim, planım bu.
- Mert is going to watch the match tonight.Mert bu akşam maçı izleyecek.
- We're going to have tea in the garden.Bahçede çay içeceğiz.
- Zeynep is going to study English this summer.Zeynep bu yaz İngilizce çalışacak.

B Olumsuz ve soru: isn't going to / Are you going to…?
Durum: Can is very tired. He isn't going to cook tonight. He's going to order a pizza. (Can çok yorgun. Bu akşam yemek yapmayacak. Pizza sipariş edecek.)
Olumsuz: am/is/are'den sonra not gelir. Soru: am/is/are başa geçer.
| Olumsuz | Soru | Kısa cevap |
|---|---|---|
| I'm not going to go | Am I going to go? | Yes, I am. / No, I'm not. |
| she isn't going to go | Is she going to go? | Yes, she is. / No, she isn't. |
| they aren't going to go | Are they going to go? | Yes, they are. / No, they aren't. |
→ do / does kullanmayız! Do you going to…? ✗ → Are you going to…? ✓ → Soru kelimesi en başa: What are you going to do?
Türkçede soruyu mi ekiyle yaparız (gidecek misin?), sıra değişmez. İngilizcede ise sıra değişir: you are → are you.
- I'm not going to drive today. The traffic is terrible.Bugün araba kullanmayacağım. Trafik berbat.
- Elif isn't going to come to the party.Elif partiye gelmeyecek.

Sarah bu kararı önceden verdi. Kafasında plan var. → going to

| Şimdi (şu anda oluyor) | Sonra (plan) |
|---|---|
| I'm watching TV. | I'm going to watch a film tonight. |
| She's working now. | She's going to work from home tomorrow. |
→ Şu an oluyorsa: am/is/are + -ing. Daha sonra yapmayı planlıyorsam: am/is/are going to + fiil.
